Roller FurlersThe Sail Loft recommends and carries only two lines of Furlers; Harken and Pro Furl. The reason is simple; Quality. Both are exceptionally designed and provide the highest levels of trouble free service. We could sell other cheaper furler units, but we wouldn't sell you something we wouldn't put on our own boat!

For boats up to 30 feet in length, we recommend the Harken MKIII Unit 0.
Its head and tack swivel rotate independently on superior torlon ball bearings.
This allows the center of the luff to furl before the head and tack helping to
maintain proper sail shape. The lightweight aerodynamic foil maintain proper air
flow and can handle demanding loads.
For larger boats in excess of 30 feet, we recommend one of the Profurl units.
Considered by many to be the best, the high strength to weight ratio of Profurl
extrusions are built to take it. The foil shape has been technically designed
for optimum performance on either tack, and the drum is constructed of an unbreakable,
unscratchable, UV resistant, high impact plastic. Plus, the Profurl can be furled
using a winch during high loads (a practice that voids warrants on other furlers).
These features alone have set Profurl apart as being the furler of choice.
To
round out our comprehensive selection of furlers we carry the Schaefer Furler
Systems.They are strong, good looking, high performance furling systems designed
to give you years of worry free service. Combine a Schafer Furling System with
a Sail Loft "wide range" reefing sail, and your roller furling/reefing
system will do the work of three or four conventional sails. The loft can modify
your existing sail or build a single sail that can perform well in a wide range
of wind conditions.
